About

Redfish Inventions was founded in 2013 when we received the first ‘Patent Pending’ status on our Smart Seeder concept. In 2016 it acquired the ‘Patented’ status. We have hopes of growing our company, sharing our values, supporting and leaving a legacy for our son and family.

Our Vision

To find efficient, realistic solutions to a wide variety of tangible issues. Through these challenges, we are striving to build innovative, quality products, as well as a legacy of helping others.

Who Are We?

We’re not magicians, but a small, passionate group of down to earth inventors who aren’t afraid to get our hands dirty or egos bruised. We put our imaginations on the workbench, add a spark of ingenuity, a dose of common sense, hours of hard work, then ask, will it float? If someone else has a novel idea, great, they also have our support.

Past…Future…

The Smart Seeder is our first official Patented invention offered for license. In the lab before that: a piston head incorporating a graceful dome and concave design was being molded – a Swedish hyper-car company beat us to it and uses it exclusively in their engines; dust masks which fit in the nostrils were being designed – too late on that one as well. There were a few others that helped set our chairs on fire, but now looking ahead: new innovations for boat design, commercial building fire protection, exercise safety equipment and coastal erosion protection are some of the gears in motion.

After several years of thinking up ideas and seeing other people bring them to market, he officially filed to receive a patent on his ‘Smart Seeder’ idea. In 2013, it was officially given patent pending status and he has been trudging through the strenuous process ever since. In March 2016, he received official notice from the United States Patent and Trademark Office that his smart seeder concept has been ‘Patented.’ Robert continuously thinks of concepts like the Smart Seeder and looks forward to getting more ideas out to market in the near future.

He enjoys working on his 1966 Ford Mustang, all types of racing, camping, woodworking, inventing, writing, and of course fishing. When he gets a break from working his day job you can find him hitting the local fishing holes with his sons.

Robert lives an hour from New Orleans, Louisiana in Folsom, Louisiana with his wife Alicia, their children.
